Financial wizard needed!
If you have an interest in parenting and want to be part of an organisation that offers education and support to families, then this role is for you. We are looking for a volunteer Treasurer to join our team. Duties include paying bills, maintaining the financials, preparing the annual budget, reporting to the Committee, and being an active part of our team.
Support and training will be provided.
Weekly time requirement – 2 hours
Skills required
● Relevant qualifications or current knowledge and experience in not-for-profit accounting and financial procedures, analysis, and reporting.
● Proficient with XERO and MS Excel
● Excellent computer skills (need access to a printer and internet connection)
● Ability to work within a timeframe
● Accuracy and eye for detail
● Well organised, efficient, and trustworthy
● A clear and transparent communicator
● A genuine team player
● Confidence to follow up with others to meet required timeframes

Put it in your diaries – the next “Baby on Board” (new name!) screening at Monterey Cinemas is on Thursday 31 March at 9:30am. Bring along bubs so you can see “My Big Fat Greek Wedding 2” without worrying about a babysitter. Lights are left up and the sound is turned down a little. Free coffee too.
