Our First Aid and CPR course is for the caregivers of infants and toddlers and is run by a Registered Nurse who loves upskilling parents, babysitters, and extended family members to be confident in caring for little ones.

Costs

For AEPC members:

$25 per person (use disc10 at checkout) or $45 per couple (use disc25 at checkout)

For non-members:

$35 per person or $60 per couple (use disc10 at checkout)

Product Description

Our infant/toddler First Aid and CPR session is a child-specific and hands-on Saturday session for all parents, grandparents, babysitters or friends caring for babies and young children up to the age of 3 years. Our session is led by a Registered Nurse who is also a mother of 2 young children.

All course participants receive a variety of handouts that complement the course content.

Participants are welcome to ask questions and discuss concerns during the course.

The course content includes:

• Recognise when to take your child to the doctor
• Common child-specific illnesses e.g., croup, febrile convulsions, meningitis, coughs, vomiting, etc.
• Practice of CPR and choking prevention using manikins (infants and adults)
• How to deal with emergency situations e.g., burns, allergic reactions, poisoning, head injuries
• Safety and accident prevention around the home

Refund policy: A minimum of one weeks’ notice is required if you wish to withdraw. A $10 administration fee will be deducted from your refund. If less than one weeks’ notice is given, no refund will be issued unless there are special circumstances.
